Adult Computer Design Courses
These courses are taught on Macs using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver or other software according to the expertise of the instructor. Competency in one software program will shorten the learning curve with any program you encounter in the future. Adult Studio Courses
Pennsylvania College of Art & Design offers a wide range of both credit and non-credit studio courses for adults. Certificate programs in Mural Painting, Digital Photography, and Home Interiors are also available. Ranging from beginner to intermediate, courses include drawing, painting, photography, illustration, comic book art and more. There is always something new to learn. All of the college's instructors are professional artists and designers who bring a variety of talent and experience to the classroom.

Supplies
Except in youth classes for grades 1 through 9, students must provide their own art supplies needed for each course. Supplies vary greatly for each course and instructor. Students will be informed of any materials needed for the first class. During the course, the instructor will go over any additional materials that are necessary.

Walk-In Come to Pennsylvania College of Art & Design and drop off your completed registration form. We will be happy to answer your questions in person. Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
All registrations and payments must be received no later than the first day of class. Enrollment is limited in many courses and registrations are accepted on a first-come basis. If you want to enroll in a class during the week just prior to its start date, please call us first to be sure we are still able to accept your registration.
Registering for any course at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design creates a short-term contract between the student and the college. Please read all registration information carefully, particularly the section on course costs and refunds. Completing a registration and paying for a course implies your understanding of and willingness to comply with the college's schedule of costs and terms for course cancellations, student withdrawals, and refunds. Please do not hesitate to call the college at (717) 396-7833 if you have any questions or need a breakdown of the fees included in the course cost.
Course Cancellations/Instructor Substitutions
Each course or workshop carries a minimum enrollment requirement. Pennsylvania College of Art & Design reserves the right to cancel any course or workshop for insufficient enrollment and to substitute instructors when necessary. If we must cancel a course or workshop, all registered students will receive notice by letter or telephone at least one week prior to the start date of the course. All payments, including all fees, will be fully refunded.
REFUNDS
All refund requests must be made in writing. Only tuition is refundable. All fees are non-refundable. Included in the cost of all courses is a $25 registration fee. To receive a breakdown of additional fees, contact the continuing education office.
Refunds will be made within 30 business days of receipt of a written request. The refund amount is based on the postmarked date of written withdrawal from the course.
Credit Courses
Prior to the start of the course: 100% refund of paid tuition (not applicable fees). Request must be received in writing three business days prior to start of the course.
After the first class meeting: 75% of the paid tuition (not applicable fees).
After the third class meeting: 50% of paid tuition (not applicable fees).
After the fifth class meeting: 25% of paid tuition (not applicable fees).
After the sixth class meeting: no refund.
Non-Credit and Youth Courses
Prior to the start of the course: 100% refund of paid tuition (not applicable fees). Request must be received in writing three business days prior to the start of the course.
No refunds after the first class session.
Computer Workshops
Prior to the start of the workshop: 100% refund of paid tuition (not applicable fees).
If Pennsylvania College of Art & Design cancels a course or workshop, all paid participants will receive a 100% refund of all paid tuition and fees.
In addition to these courses, Pennsylvania College of Art & Design offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography and Certificate Programs in Digital Photography, Home Interiors, Mural Painting, Print Design and Web Design.
