Message from the Gallery Director
I would like to personally invite you to visit the Main Gallery at PCA&D, in particular our new exhibit FOLKLORE. This special exhibit features original Pennsylvania Dutch Fraktur drawings dispayed in the gallery at PCA&D, alongside and in conversation with contemporary works of art. In addition to the First Friday receptions on March 7 and April 4, I hope you join us in the Atrium at PCA&D on March 20th for a panel discussion featuring artists whose work is included in the exhibit.
The Main Gallery is a professional exhibition space with three interconnected galleries, high ceilings, natural light, and a rotation of lively, thought provoking exhibits. Aside from our annual Senior Show, exhibits feature full-time professional artists; artists who spend 40 plus hours a week in their studio and for whom art is their life’s work. They are award winning, nationally and internationally recognized in their field, whether it is painting, illustration, graphic design, sculpture, digital media, or photography.
In addtion to the wonderful gallery exhibits we also host Atrium Events, a series of artist talks and panel discussions.
We are open every First Friday until 9 p.m. Located at 204 North Prince Street, the Main Gallery at PCA&D is located on Lancaster's Gallery Row. A perfect place to meet friends for First Friday.
Hope to see you in the Gallery,
Heidi Leitzke, PCA&D Gallery Director
