Deanna Hogg Meyer '04 Illustration will be featured in a Lancaster Sunday News article in October. Her recent children's book, which she wrote and illustrated, will be published and released in September. She'll sign her book, "Buffalo on the Ridge," at the Adamstown Library on October 21st. Channel 69 News also recently ran a story about Deanna.

Ashley Reid - Graphic Design
Ashley Reid's "It's My Verb" was the concept selected for a student-only, AIGA-sponsored campaign. The campaign is meant to excite, educate, and inspire design students throughout Central Pennsylvania. It is intended to help students from surrounding universities connect with one another. The campaign provides an opportunity for students to share their thoughts and opinions on design, as well as industry trends. AIGA Central PA's goal is that "It's My Verb" will open lines of communication through various outlets and allow the students to not only share what they are seeing but also inspire one another in their excitement for design. Samantha Root - Fine Arts
Samantha Root won an Award of Excellence in York Arts’ 2009 Emerging Visions: A Juried Showcase of Top Undergraduate Artists. Elaina Posey '09 and Evan Tyler Stallone '09 were also juried into the show.
Evan Stallone - Fine Arts
During May 2010, Evan Stallone had an exhibit in Lancaster's Painted Desert Gallery. An article featuring Evan and the exhibit was in Lancaster’s Sunday News.

Amy Beard - Fine Arts
Amy Boone-McCreesh (Amy Beard) is currently a candidate for her MFA at Towson University in MD. She recently curated a Yorkarts exhibit, entitled "Multidimensional Materiality." She will be curating a show at Maryland Art Place for the Curator’s Incubator Program in 2011. www.mdartplace.org. She is also participating in the exhibit POMP at the H&H building in Baltimore. The opening reception was on August 21, 2010, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. at 5th Dimension (H&H), 405 W. Franklin Street, Baltimore, MD.
2006
Jennifer Davis - Graphic Design
Jennifer is working at Cline, Davis, & Mann. It’s an awarding-winning agency, located in Princeton, NJ. She’s currently working as a senior copywriter on a product called Intuniv. Their ads have been online and they’ve been doing a viral campaign on search engines.
She also won a Medical, Marketing, and Media (MM&M) award for best detail ad. The piece is a visual aid used with physicians to explain a medication that she worked on at Ogilvy. In addition, Jennifer is particularly proud of an ad that has been in Shape magazine, Vogue, and several other magazines.
Andrew Zubko - Illustration
Matt illustrated a cover in May for Portland Mercury. The idea, chosen by readers in an online poll, features Betty White holding a flaming chainsaw riding John Ritter. After the cover was released, it made the internet rounds virally and was linked from popular sites such as msnbc.com, neatorama.com, geekology.com, and dlisted.com.

Jeff McComsey - Illustration
The Fictory, an animation studio run by director Joseph W. Krzemienski, recently released the teaser trailer for the upcoming short featuring Red 5 Comics character, Atomic Robo. "Atomic Robo: Last Stop", an animated short film, is based on the award winning Atomic Robo graphic novels by Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener. Jeff McComsey is part of the project.

Deanna Hogg Meyer - Illustration
Deanna's first children's book, "Buffalo on the Ridge", has been published. It was written and illustrated by Deanna. The book is an educational story for elementary age readers. It includes full page, full color illustrations which are bright and detailed.

Kati Gegg - Graphic Design
On June 26-27, 2010, Kati Gegg participated in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Overnight, an 18-mile walk, from sunset to sunrise, to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention. Read the full article for more details.
