The Design Center

Construction is underway!

PCA&D is taking the next step in its development as a regional leader in art and design education with the construction of the new Design Center.

Work on the Design Center has begun and is scheduled for completion by late August, just in time for the 2010-2011 academic year. A formal dedication of the space will be held at PCA&D during Fall 2010.

The Center is a 9,200 square foot expansion and facility enhancement of the College, located at 204 North Prince Street, Lancaster, Pa.

“The Design Center will assist our students in achieving excellence across the board and in every major," states Matthew Ivan Cherry, academic dean at PCA&D. “It will enable students from all disciplines to connect their creative energies in one dynamic environment.”

PCA&D recognizes Phil Wenger with Kenneth R. Bernhard Award

PCA&D recently recognized out-going Board Chair Phil Wenger with our Kenneth R. Bernhard Award for his outstanding service to the college. The award was presented to Phil during our exclusive preview of the Mosaic Project gallery exhibit. Also invited to attend the event were donors and guests involved with the project. In addition to viewing the new exhibit, attendees met the artists and learned about the multiple phases of the Mosaic Project.
