PCA&D has entered into an exclusive partnership with Lancaster Newspapers, Inc. for nine furnished apartments that offer two- to four-bedroom options.
These apartments are in addition to existing housing options for all PCA&D students.
Located on the second and third floors of the first block of West King Street -- in the heart of downtown Lancaster -- the Steinman Lofts on West King will ensure that PCA&D's student body has access to appropriate, affordable housing.
PCA&D’s long-term strategic plan anticipates an increase in enrollment over the next ten years. A stable source of housing options is key to this strategy.
"Providing housing for our students is part of our envisioned future," states Mary Colleen Heil, PCA&D president. "We added a new Digital Media major this year and as our curriculum grows, we're reaching out to students from a broader geographic region. Providing safe, attractive, and affordable housing is part of why students choose PCA&D to prepare for their careers in art and design."
