PCA&D alumnus Jeff McComsey '05 is editor-in-chief of "FUBAR 2: Empire of the Rising Dead," which is currently #6 on The New York Times "Best Sellers -- Paperback Graphic Books" list.
It's the first week on the list for "FUBAR 2" (published by Alterna Comics), a tale set in World War II during a zombie outbreak. See the list here or pick up your paper copy of the NYT on Sunday, January 29.
Jeff and fellow alumnus Steve Becker '04 created the storyline and wrote and drew some of the work. Jeff also managed over 40 artists and writers -- including PCA&D alumni Helaine Crawford '11, Eric Spohn '05, Erik Regester '05 and Joe Palumbo -- to produce the 27 shorts.
In addition to being on the NYT best sellers list, "FUBAR 2" has been nominated to receive the "Comic: Anthology -- People's Choice" award for 2011 by IGN Entertainment, a division of News Corporation.
Jeff was a featured alumnus in PCA&D's ad in the summer 2011 edition of fig Lancaster magazine. You can see much more about Jeff at McComsey Comix.
