PCA&D's annual Senior Show & Celebration was a raging success on April 28, packing over 1000 visitors into our five floors of art, live music, family and friends.
For three-plus hours, 60,000 square feet in the college came alive as our Class of 2012 displayed their senior thesis projects, sold work, were serenaded by three live musical groups, noshed on yummy snacks, and enjoyed visits by their family and friends.
Photos albums are now on PCA&D's Facebook wall.
You can also see an article written by Laura Knowles of the Lancaster (Pa.) Newspapers in which she featured four members of our Class of 2012 in a preview piece about the "Senior Show & Celebration." Thanks, LNP, for your interest in this wonderful community event.
The Senior Show & Celebration is free and open to the public. And you can view a lively, short video from past Celebrations by clicking here.
Hundreds of art lovers fill five floors of Pennsylvania College of Art & Design to enjoy art, live music, refreshments, friends and family. You'll experience artworks created in various media: wearable art, motion graphics, illustration, graphic design, printmaking, painting, photography, 3D illustration, and much more.
Live music that day will include Rue de la Pompe, the Tom Witmer Duo, and the Mark Huber Duo.
It's a great way to spend an afternoon in trendy downtown Lancaster.
In 2012, PCA&D welcomes central PA’s public broadcasting station witf as media sponsor for the 2012 Senior Show & Celebration. We are pleased to be working with a leader in public radio and one of the few local producers of original content about central Pennsylvania issues.
Artwork promoting the Senior Show & Celebration (a detail of the poster design is shown above) was designed by Joe Pietrzak '12. Click here to see more about Joe and his passion for design.
