Every year since 2011, Carson Lieberman, a Lancaster City 5th grader, has taken classes at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, 204 N. Prince Street, Lancaster. He said, “I <3 the projects and the teachers.”

His mother, Lori Hartmann said, “I love that PCA&D gives Carson an opportunity outside of school to explore different art techniques while still allowing his creativity to grow. His teacher understands his level of creativity and allows him to imagine out of the box.”

Pennsylvania College of Art & Design has announced its schedule of courses for summer 2015. The courses for youth include general studio courses designed by age level and courses that allow children to explore color, watercolors, drawing, beads and pottery, cartooning, textiles, printmaking and more. The courses are designed with specific age groups in mind and offer a creative outlet in a camp like setting.
