Join the Center for Creative Exploration at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (pcad.edu/cce) at Zoetropolis Cinema and Stillhouse the second Wednesday of the month for art making, creative breaks, and play that’s just for grown-ups.\nFor May’s Art Recess for Adults we will be joined by Hillside Place Studio! Hillside Place Studio, founded by artist and educator Stephanie Deininger, is centered on investigating the connections between the creative arts and therapeutic benefits in the context of wellness/well-being. Join Hillside Place during the May Art Recess for Adults in an exploration of  “a sense of place” as the theme for reflection and mindfulness. Together we will dive into abstraction and collage techniques to help us create work as we think about how and why we travel and what landscapes can represent for us as we take a mini mental holiday.\n\nMake some art!\nMake a friend!\nEnjoy happy hour!\nMake a craft!\nBring a craft you’re already working on!\n\nWind down your day and take care of yourself.
