Artist Talk: Shelby and Jordan Wormley, Juneteenth exhibit
Event Navigation
PCA&D’s Art Garden is one of this year’s locations for YWCA Lancaster’s Juneteenth observance, Black Artist Waystation, which opens Friday, June 18. A talk by artists Shelby and Jordan Wormley, open to the public, is scheduled for Thursday, June 17, at 6 pm.
The exhibit is photographed and curated by the Wormleys, of W.E. & Company. It tells the story of the Art Garden in early summer 2020, when it was the site of Lancaster’s Black Lives Matters protests and the location of the community’s art and expressions of mourning.
The Art Garden is located at the intersection of North Prince and West Chestnut streets in Lancaster city.
