Constitution Day celebration
PCA&D explores right to vote, the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment, and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 at its 2020 celebration of Constitution Day Wednesday, Sept. 30.
The virtual event features:
- Dr. Louise Stevenson, Professor of History and American Studies and Former Chair of Women’s Studies at Franklin & Marshall College;
- Christina Hess, Illustration Department Chair at PCA&D and designer of the United States Mint’s silver dollar commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment;
- a representative from Lancaster Votes, a nonpartisan effort to increase voter registration and participation in Lancaster County.
