First Friday: Artist Talk with Jaymi Vilardo, CORE Gallery, Instagram Live

Jaymi Vilardo, ’22, Fine Art, will be in the spotlight on CORE Gallery’s Instagram Live to talk about “Hiraeth,” her takeover exhibition of CORE Gallery’s Instagram feed July 26 through Aug. 8. “Hiraeth” means many things: in this case, nostalgia for a home to which you cannot return. The work is a reflection of coping with life’s challenges and personal growth. This Instagram takeover features two-dimensional media, artist books, sculptures, installations, and more, including oil paintings, pen and ink drawings, and prints.
