The Fine Art Department welcomes Baltimore-based PCA&D alumna Amy Boone-McCreesh for an Artist Talk Thursday, Nov. 4, 10:15-11:15 am in the College Atrium.
Boone-McCreesh explores a wide variety of materials in her work, from paper and foam to fabric, acrylic, and more. Her work is in a wide range of collections, from Facebook in Washington, D.C., to the Department of State, Art in Embassies, U.S. Consulate in Monterrey, Mexico. She has taught at the national and international levels, and has exhibited nationally in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Washington, D.C., and Denver, Colorado.
She earned her BFA in Fine Art in 2007 from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, and her MFA in Studio Arts from Towson University in 2010. You can follow her work on her website, amyboonemccreesh.com, and on Instagram here.
