Printmaking: Monotype Workshop

Discover the beauty of monotypes in this one day printmaking workshop. Monotypes are images that are created with the intention of only being printed once, unlike traditional printmaking, where images are created to be duplicated multiple times. In this workshop, students will be exploring the monotype process from start to finish, creating a singular printed image on paper transferred from a painted matrix (in this case, a piece of acrylic) that can be manipulated in a variety of ways using various tools.
