Virtual Artist Talk: Goni Montes

PCA&D’s Illustration department welcomes Goni Montes as its distinguished guest speaker for the fall semester on Monday, Nov. 2, at 2 pm.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Montes obtained a BA from UPR Mayagüez, and an MFA from SCAD Atlanta. In 2003 he began working as a scientific illustrator for the Puerto Rico Sea Grant. He now works primarily in illustration for sci-fi/fantasy books, comics, editorial, and advertising. His clients include The New Yorker, DC Vertigo, Wizards of the Coast, The New York Times, Tor Publishing, Scientific American, and many more.
