Saleem Ahmed

Photographer Saleem Ahmed will present a Virtual Artist Talk to the Photography & Video Department, but open to all, Monday, Oct. 26, at 11 am.

Ahmed also is an assistant professor based in Philadelphia. His creative practice incorporates elements of documentary storytelling, family history, writing, and bookmaking.

Ahmed developed Vista Oculta, a five-year photography workshop geared toward teaching youth on the streets of La Paz, Bolivia. He has also worked as a Media Lab Instructor for WHYY, where he taught media literacy to high school and middle school students in the Philadelphia School District.
