Virtual Artist Talk: Laurence Miller

New York City gallerist Laurence Miller will present a virtual talk to the Photography & Video Department, open to all, on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 10 am. The Laurence Miller Gallery has spent nearly four decades collaborating with artists, collectors, curators, writers and others in the fields of photography and contemporary art. Virtual Artist Talk: Saleem Ahmed

Photographer Saleem Ahmed will present a Virtual Artist Talk to the Photography & Video Department, but open to all, Monday, Oct. 26, at 11 am. Ahmed also is an assistant professor based in Philadelphia. His creative practice incorporates elements of documentary storytelling, family history, writing, and bookmaking. Virtual Artist Talk: Heather Hart

New York-based artist Heather Hart will present a virtual guest lecture Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 2 pm. A visual artist who works in a variety of media including interactive and participatory installation, drawing, collage, and painting, Hart’s work has been exhibited worldwide including at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia; the Gantt Center in Charlotte, N.C.; The Brooklyn Museum; and the Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park.
