Michele Lombardo is a writer and an active literary citizen based in Lancaster, PA. She is Co-founder of the monthly literary meet-up Write Now Lancaster, an Art Advocate for the city of Lancaster, and a member of the Fiction Board at Philadelphia Stories. She holds an MFA degree in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside, where she studied both fiction writing and screenwriting, and her work has been published (or is forthcoming) in several literary journals, including Sou’wester, Cosmonauts Avenue, Literary Orphans, DASH, Permafrost Magazine, and many others. Her story “Benched” was recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Currently, she’s completing a novel and a short story collection. Throughout her career, she’s also worked in Marketing and Communications as a ghostwriter, copywriter, editor, speechwriter, and more.
