Big Ideas! Creative Problem Solving with Nichole Madonna: Grades 4 – 6

In this two-day class, your child will learn to explore ideas and materials to come up with solutions to problems and prompts.

On day 1, we will start with an ice-breaker focused on using found objects and recyclables to create unique trophies and awards. Your child will be prompted to consider what deserves recognition in their lives, moving into ideation and hands-on construction.

Our second day will take their creativity further as we explore camouflage by completely covering a found object, transforming it so its original use is hidden. By the end of our time together, students will have created two imaginative projects and gained a deeper understanding of creative problem solving!
