Description

In this class for young artists in grades 5-7, we will learn different techniques to apply to different types of fabric to create new surfaces and designs. Students will experiment with clamping, color removal, painting, and printing on fabric. They will also experiment with deconstructing and reconstructing fabric and collaging. We will view and discuss examples of fabric designs and how to utilize fabrics in different forms. The fabrics created will serve as completed pieces as well as be utilized to create new pieces of art with other materials.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by October 7 in order to run. Register today!
