Description
This beginning level workshop taught by M.W. Dugger is designed to introduce you to mixed-media elements in your artwork. Together we will explore the history of mixed-media art making, from its origins to where we are now. In addition to basic definitions of mixed media work, we will explore composition, narrative, displaying, and archival practices in mixed media work. We will put together what we have learned about mixed media work in a composition on paper. At the end of this workshop, you will walk away with at least three pieces of work. The first and second focused on composition and narrative and the third will be a finished piece that will combine all of what we will learn during our time together.
