Fabric Surface Design and Exploration Ages 11-Adult: Intergenerational Studio

In this two day class, you will learn different techniques to apply to fabric to create new surfaces and designs. We will experiment with clamping, color removal, dyeing, painting, and printing on fabric. We will view and discuss examples of fabric designs and how to utilize fabrics in different forms. The fabrics created will serve as completed pieces as well as be utilized to create new pieces of art!
