Description
Learn to draw from life and then use those drawings to construct imagined/fantasy images. You will learn a basic history of still lives (their purposes, general history, and symbolism), draw from a staged still life, and then apply this learning to create an imagined drawing using the still life as the primary reference.
This course must meet minimum enrollment by June 3 in order to run. Register today!
Supplies
- Sketchbook or sketchpad
- Pencils, pens, or other materials you prefer to sketch
- 2-3 sheets of high-quality surface of your choice (no larger than 9×12”)
- Medium of their choice for high quality surface/ personal project (examples: Colored pencil, charcoal, graphite, collage, pastel, etc.)
