February – Music Production 101: Grades 7-10

Whether your child is taking their first steps into music production or looking to learn new techniques in composing music, this is the class for them! Primarily based in the genres of hip hop, pop, and dance, we will learn the ins and outs of Logic Pro X (an Apple based production software) as well as a variety of sound databases to create a beat from scratch. This class will be helpful to those looking to create a musical production for content, video games, a new single/album, dance routine, or even to just listen to at night or at the gym. Music is a universal language that we all can understand! This is a lecture and practice style class! Expect to have some lecture followed by one-on-one help from your instructor.
