February – Sticker Club! Accessory Making: Grades 4-6

This is an exploratory art making class for kids in grades 4-6 to practice crafting accessories such as sticker sheets, sticker mandalas, or charms for their personal items like a water bottle, backpack, or tablet. Together we will learn about and connect with different local artists and resources that utilize accessories in their artwork. All materials will be provided but students are welcome to bring any extra beads or charms from home that they would like to incorporate into their artwork. Students are also welcome to bring their own personal items such as a water bottle or backpack to attach their accessories to at the end of class. This is a studio based class with a bit of guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have lots of creative freedom within the bounds of the assignments!
