Description
Composing a figure on a page and finding the relationships of gesture, structure, rhythm and form are some of the challenges and beauties of drawing from a live model. This class covers the foundational elements of a good figure drawing, how to express the influence of light on form, and proper proportions and likeness. A class for beginners and for the more experienced, learn methods that will benefit your figure drawing practice while drawing from a live clothed model in graphite and charcoal.
This course must meet minimum enrollment by February 8 in order to run. Register today!

- Assortment of graphite pencils (suggest: 4H, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B)
- Willow/Vine Charcoal
- Compressed Charcoal
- Kneaded Eraser and Plastic Eraser

- Drawing paper no smaller than 11″x14″ (at least 80lb)
