Description

As creatives, we often get stuck focusing on a problem or hurdle in our projects or just feeling uninspired. In this course, you will be introduced to the Design Thinking framework as applied to creative projects and processes. You will put the framework to practice in active sessions learning to understand your target audience by building empathy and better understanding the problem you are trying to solve. We will look at practical ways to apply this framework to everyday design problems and take the process further by developing an idea to solve a problem as a group or individually. Your instructor will guide you through different techniques for each stage of the process, depending on your unique outcome. This class’s artifact will depend on what you want to develop, but examples could be a pitch document, a product concept, a visual concept, or a user journey.
