In this class, we will explore Matisse and his use of color, form, and composition. We will work with a still life to create a series of paintings or collages based on what we learn about the artist. This class experience is designed to be a little more experimental/step outside of the box of traditional representational painting.
You will leave the class with 3 different pieces of art, however the takeaway is not about the finished pieces but the process of creating them and how you can bring what you learned into your own work.
This course must meet minimum enrollment by February 7 in order to run. Register today!
