Parent + Child – Fabric Painting Scarfs: Grades 1-5

In this parent + child class, you will learn different techniques to create new surfaces and designs on fabric. We will experiment with painting and printing as well as attaching various materials to the surface. We will view and discuss examples of fabric art by different cultures and talk about how to utilize fabrics in different forms. Together you will complete a one-of-a kind hand painted/printed scarf – an amazing piece of wearable art! The registration fee covers a parent/guardian and one child.
