Description

Join us with your toddler as we explore and play with process art! In this process focused printmaking class inspired by the work of 21st century abstract artist, Stanley Whitney you and your toddler will participate in a story time where we will be introduced to art terms such as line, shape, color, abstract, and print. Then, we will practice using their fine motor skills to paint, print, stamp, and draw on large scale mixed media paper. Your toddler will use these skills to experiment with mixed media materials and collagraph printing with blocks to create their own mini masterpieces! You are encouraged to create alongside your child throughout the art making process. All art materials will be washable and clothing protection will be provided but wearing clothes that can get messy will be helpful. Adaptive Accommodations can also be provided! This is a process focused class with a lot of creative freedom! Expect to have a little guidance from your instructor and a lot of space to experiment and play! Class registration covers one adult and one child.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by January 28 in order to run. Register today!
