Description

This is a one-day, two-hour workshop designed for adult learners interested in exploring zine-making as a creative and expressive practice. Participants will examine examples of photozines and discuss key techniques, uses, and the role of self-publishing as an accessible creative tool. We will begin our time together with a short, discussion-based introduction. Students will then develop an idea, draft a simple execution plan, and create their own photozine using repurposed materials. The workshop concludes with a brief group sharing of completed zines. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a completed photozine, an understanding of the zine-making process, and digital access to all zines created during the session. This workshop is primarily studio based paired with one-on-one instruction and demonstration. Expect to have a lot of creative freedom!

This course must meet minimum enrollment by March 14 in order to run. Register today!
