Description

In this class students in grades 9-12 will learn the basic building block tools of Adobe Photoshop. Through lecture, demonstration, and student experimentation, students will leave with a well rounded knowledge of how Photoshop works and how to manipulate images to really pop and become fully realized and unique pieces of art.  A few preselected digital images will be provided by the instructor to use to learn and test image editing skills. Students should bring at least 3 self-shot images they can edit that can be used as portfolio pieces to showcase their editing skills. Expect to have guidance from the instructor and some creative freedom. There will be some critique; expect be challenged to refine your skills and techniques.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by February 28 in order to run. Register today! 

 
 

Supply List

 

  • At least 3 images photographed on any digital camera.
  • Bring a USB drive or cloud based service like Google Drive to save any work you’d like to take home.
