Puppet Creation: Intergenerational Studio Ages 10-Adult

Description

Let’s create a working sculpture that meets any skill level! Puppets are beloved art pieces that can help encourage empathy and storytelling, demonstrate craft and design skills, and be plain silly/ goofy/ creepy! In this three part class, each participant will be able to invent and create their own puppet out of paper, fabric, wood, cardboard, and other mixed media. Whether you’re thinking a hand puppet, bag puppet, sock puppet… we can make your puppet dreams come true, and we’ll end our classes with an impromptu puppet parade.
