Virtual Reality (“VR”) is a new frontier in artistic expression, but the technological hurdles required to create a virtual experience can feel difficult for many artists to overcome. This workshop teaches principles, methods and tools to help artists and designers rapidly prototype VR experiences. After an overview of the VR design process and current VR devices, participants will complete a hands-on session using visual tools to create an interactive prototype for an XR device.

This workshop is targeted at non-technical artists and designers, but knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will empower attendees to continue to develop their projects beyond the prototype stage.

This class must meet minimum enrollment by March 18 in order to run. Register today!
