February Fun! Reverse Tie Dye Workshop: Grades 3-5

Students in grades 3-5 will explore the art of color-removal from fabric to create amazing reverse tie-dye creations! We will experiment with clamping, shibori, and tied pieces of string to create patterns. Students will experiment with resist techniques to remove color from fabric samples and a tote bag. The fabrics created will serve as completed pieces as well as be utilized to create new pieces of art with other materials.
