Description
In this workshop, we will explore the physical and conceptual connections that create a work of art. We will look at references from everyday life and interpret them through sculptural forms in a series of small assignments. Both individually and as in a group, you will learn different approaches to attaching, joining, and connecting various materials and explore the visual and conceptual impact of those combinations. You will be asked to document 12 connections you encounter in your daily lives to bring in the first day of the workshop. This documentation can include images, videos, drawings, written descriptions, etc.
This course must meet minimum enrollment by June 6 in order to run. Register today!
