Description
Nothing ruins a vacation more quickly (and violently) than a slasher. A masked threat in a once serene wilderness, a doll come to life wielding kitchen utensils. And in what conditions did the slasher emerge as a genre? This course will blend creative writing craft with a rudimentary introduction to the theory behind the slasher, postmodernism. Students can expect a theoretical introduction to the genre and period alongside authorial techniques for writing this modern horror genre.
This course must meet minimum enrollment by May 25 in order to run. Register today!
