Description
In this portrait and lighting class we will take a deep dive into how to craft a great portrait. Various styles of portraiture and artists will be introduced through lecture in class, which students will use as inspiration to craft their own images. Students will be encouraged to be as creative as they want and will produce a polished portfolio piece.
This is a credit-bearing class and grades will be given. Please check the supply list tab for materials needed to complete this class.

Supplies
- Hard drive or flash drive for saving and transporting images
- Note taking supplies
- Camera is optional. PCA&D will have digital DSLR cameras available during class time. If you would prefer to bring your own manual capability camera, you may do so.
- An Adobe ID login email address for access to an active Adobe account (NO subscription necessary to obtain an ID.)
