We will work and learn together, in person, for the 2020-2021 academic year
The seriousness of the COVID-19 virus necessitates shifts in our practices to ensure the care of our community as we continue to provide a rich, creative education. To keep this virus at bay and to keep each other healthy, we all need to work together. To accomplish this we are sharing our roadmap to reopening and navigating these coming months.
- Academic instruction will be provided in a hybrid modality, which includes in-person and remote instruction.
- In shared responsibility, we will all wear face masks, commit to hand washing and disinfecting procedures, and practice physical distancing for the protection of each other and our larger community.
Fall Term: Aug. 24 – Nov. 24*
Spring Term: Jan. 19 – Apr. 30
Spring Preview Sessions: Jan. 19-21
Spring Orientation: Jan. 22
Hybrid In-Person Classes: Jan. 25-Apr 16
Study Tables & Drop-in Studio Sessions: Apr. 19-30
* We will not be taking a fall or spring break this year in order to minimize travel from and back to the College campus. The thinking is to decrease COVID-19 exposure risks from travel and proactively prepare for a possible “rebound” of the virus.
