Aswan Warren was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She works with digital photography and other photographic techniques, such as 3d art, and film photography. Aswan has mastered many skills in the art field. Aswan loves to express emotion through self-expression. Storytelling is her main focus in photography. Storytelling creates a feeling of truth and reveals the unknown.
Ever since Aswan was a young lady, art has been her passion. Aswan Warren started an interest in the arts in 2012. She attended the Fletcher Art Memorial School at the age of 7. She has mastered the understanding of art. While attending the Fletch Art Memorial School, she studied colors, including primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Aswan uses the skills she learned in the past into her older age. She uses this color palette on the neural side, creating a grey scale ranging from dark brown to burnt orange to cool grey. Aswan tends to be drawn to black-and-white photography. Black and white create a feeling of the past and present. Highlighting her main focus point of storytelling.
Pennsylvania College of Art and Design has opened Aswan’s eyes to what it means to be a photographer. She has discovered that hard work takes time. Being in the art field taught her patience. Every photo is quick to create, but every idea takes time to execute. Aswan has improved tremendously in her photography skills.
