Undergraduate Programs
Find Your Major
PCA&D offers four-year degree programs that pair a creatively-focused liberal arts education with professional studio art training.
Which one (or ones) inspires you?
Non-Major Coursework
Liberal Arts
A third of your time at PCA&D will be filled with learning the history and current context surrounding the industry you’re studying. All liberal arts courses are led with a focus on creative thinking to round out your education with the skills you’ll need to succeed beyond the studio: critical thinking, problem solving, researching, verbal and written communication, and more.
Foundation Year
All incoming students have to establish a base of fundamental drawing, software, and design skills to find success in their future chosen major. At PCA&D, this is called Foundation Year. This communal first-year experience allows you to connect with your new peers and prepares you to meet faculty expectations moving forward. Best of all – it gives you a risk-free, productive opportunity to experiment with different media and techniques in a professional setting before officially declaring your major in the spring!
