The art and music scene spills into the streets on the 1st and 3rd Friday nights of every month, with downtown art shows and great outdoor music.
On the first Friday of each month, Lancaster City celebrates its arts community with gallery openings, special events, live performances, and more. Shops and restaurants often extend their hours and host unique promotions as well.
On the third Friday of each month from May to September, Lancaster City celebrates its local bands, musicians, and singers with Music Fridays. Enjoy all the varieties of music as you stroll through the city visiting shops and restaurants.
Lancaster Central Market
Established in 1730, this public farmers’ market brings together more than 60 area vendors. Open Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, find locally prepared foods, meats, cheeses, and more.
