Kain Hurst

At my core, I am an illustrator with a fascination for the darker elements of our world and others. I find beauty in the gruesome, inspiration in the profane, and elegance in the chaotic. Born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I have been a creative soul since day one. My fascination with art soared when I won a Scholastic Silver Key for Short Stories in school and saw the entries of all the other winners. With this, I sought to discover more forms of artistic processes, leading me down the path of an Illustration degree and a minor in Fine Art. When it comes to what I am interested in learning for the production of future projects, the sky is the limit. After graduation, I will further develop my graphic design skills, continue building my illustration portfolio, produce shortform comics, and hopefully move on to create a clothing brand.
