Pennsylvania College of Art & Design is pleased to announce the addition of Melisa Baez and Robin Resnick to its Board of Trustees. Trustees voted to approve the addition of Baez as Trustee and Resnick as Parent Trustee to the Board at their July meeting.

  • Over the past decade, Baez has focused on growing her professional experience and passion by engaging in entrepreneurial ventures, partnerships, and educational platforms. While serving as Chief Program Officer at ASSETS, she launched its first Women’s Business Center and Entrepreneurial Service department. As an entrepreneur herself, running her company ELUME, Baez leads innovative work in the space of sustainable consulting and creating products for entrepreneurs transitioning from existing business models to impact-driven models. Baez is a graduate of Bard College with an MBA in Sustainability and a current Board Member for Lancaster County Community Foundation and Un-Tours, one of the first registered B Corps in the world.
  • Resnick is the Executive Administrator of Beth Chaim Reform Congregation, where she’s run the day-to-day operations for the past seven years. Prior to her time at Beth Chaim, she was a Program Manager and Beta Program Manager for Lotus Development Corporation, a division of IBM. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from Widener University. Resnick’s volunteer interests include being Board Treasurer of her Homeowners’ Association and participating in the American Cancer Society’s Holiday Card Program. Resnick is a resident of Malvern, Pa., where she is an active volunteer for Spay and Save, a local cat rescue.
