Cara Miller

Animation & Game Art, BFA

My name is Cara Miller. I love to create stories with dynamic characters and fascinating worlds. I enjoy bringing the impossible to life to create a story that inspires others to do the same. After graduation, I plan to work on honing my skills by working as an animator and 3D modeler. My next personal project will be to create a small animation.

Inspired by my teddy bear, I created a short film that focuses on a child’s imagination. In tough times children turn to things that they find comfort in such as stuffed animals. I turned to my teddy bear during tough times in my life and envisioned him as a knight in shining armor that would defend me against nightmares. I believed that my teddy bear had a mind of his own and would protect me at any cost. By exploring 3D computer graphics as my medium I modeled, colored, built, and animated my senior project to show a story told through the eyes of a young girl that gets kidnapped.
