My goal is to create art that resonates with viewers on a visual level, inviting them to step into a world where color, texture, and technique converge to create an immersive experience. In this body of work, I am describing the human experience and memories through interior spaces, figures, and objects by distorting realities. This is to create visual absurdities using technical approaches, collage-like styles, and photoshop techniques to build a reference to work from. I use important and influential people in my life as references and take imagery from my personal life experiences. My intention of interior spaces is to frame and contain the abnormal, intimate, and unexpected elements of life. While also using symbolism in color to enhance the pieces and create a sense of environment and mood.
I am a Pennsylvania based artist that is committed to exploring the intricacies of oil paint to create fine detailed works that are rich in color and texture. I have had work exhibited at The Demuth Museum in 2024. Although I do not have any plans for the future, I hope to be able to combine my appreciation for film into my career as an artist.
