Heart in the Fog is a illustrated novella centered around the journey of protagonist, The Boy, who navigates billowy blue fog with his heart lantern to rediscover his purpose in the strange unknown land he traverses. This book deals with themes of memory, discovery, kindness, trust, and sympathy. All work is written and illustrated by myself and a flipbook element is animated within the margin of the pages when viewers flip through the pages.
Working various commissions within the Lancaster music scene as well as teaching Reading Goggleworks, I have had the opportunity to refine my skills and pitch work for a legitimate illustration gig. With experience in motion, sequential, and album cover work, it is my aspiration to create art for publication.
