Reawakening

Artistic transformations spawned from the global health and social crises

Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D) is pleased to announce the physical re-opening of the student-run gallery space for the College community. Reawakening is a group exhibition featuring current PCA&D students. Curated by the CORE Gallery curatorial board, the exhibition will be viewable in person for the campus community and to the general public through the CORE Gallery’s Instagram.

This exhibition reflects the re-opening of our world and artistic transformations that spawn from the global health and social crises. As the first exhibition in the physical gallery space since the pandemic disrupted all programming last spring, the members of the curatorial board for CORE Gallery are thrilled to share this exhibition with the world.

Whether viewed in person or virtually, the hope is this exhibit will serve as an inspiration to artists everywhere to keep creating during these strange and challenging times. This is a historically important exhibition for CORE Gallery, and an important step as the College reopens. This exhibition sets the stage for the moment of Reawakening for all of us.
