Harmony: Evolving

“Harmony” is a word with multiple meanings and interpretations. Peace, balance, and the combination of music notes in a chord are just a few. Artists in this community show are invited to interpret the theme as they see fit, using any medium they choose. Residents of York County of any age or level of experience are invited to participate in this show for free.
Harmony: Evolving begins with blank 10” x 10” wooden panels forming a grid on the main gallery wall at PCA&D York. Over time, the space will transform, beginning with a serene emptiness. As participants take panels to complete, they will reveal a portion of an image on the wall. The return of finished pieces will mix with designs and images until finally coming together to form an eclectic array of artworks showcasing the community’s interpretation of “harmony.”
