Brian Milbrand

Brian Milbrand is a media artist, video designer, and educator with more than twenty-five years of experience teaching and working at the intersection of art, technology, and live performance. Throughout his career, he has taught filmmaking, motion graphics, visual effects, cinematography, editing, sound design, and video design, while developing innovative curricula that combine technical proficiency with creative exploration. In addition to his work in higher education, Brian has created award-winning video designs for theater, produced documentary films exploring issues of education and social justice, and presented experimental moving-image work through live audiovisual performance and film. He is passionate about mentoring emerging artists and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
